Thought Exchange

West Valley School District Parents, Staff and Community Members,

Recently we invited everyone within the West Valley School Community to share their thoughts about three potential projects which are intended to provide more student capacity for growth as well as providing a safe and secure learning environment.  Our goal was to get a sense of shared values and priorities from as many people as possible as well as collect a series of questions that would help us shape future conversations around these potential projects.

We're excited to report that we had 462 individuals respond. Participants shared 856 thoughts and assigned 18,266 stars to their top priorities from across the West Valley School Community. We are still reviewing the wealth of information we received and look forward to sharing the results with you in the next few months.  We want to take the time to review your questions and provide you with some answers around funding, budget and any proposed timeline.

Thank you again for taking the time to participate in this critical process geared at addressing important needs for the future of the West Valley School District. Your feedback is critical in gaining the information needed around what our community could potentially support in a potential building bond issue. Shortly after we share our information, we will have a website produced that reveals all results, shares our preliminary thoughts around the identified priorities, and if school construction is the desired direction, plans for potential school buildings and estimated costs and timelines.

This has the potential to be a very exciting time for the West Valley School District and it could not happen without your participation.
