Congratulations to West Valley High School students Jimmy Pruiett and Havana Alexander for being selected as the top Finalist in the 32nd Annual Sunrise Rotary Speech Contest! Each year Sunrise Rotary provides scholarship funds in an effort to help promote quality public speaking skills. High school seniors are invited to participate what is now the 32th Annual Sunrise Rotary Speech Contest. A total of $10,000.00 in scholarship money will be awarded among the top five speakers. This is a merit-based scholarship solely on the speech.

Sunrise Rotary Speech Contest Committee and Chairperson Peter Marinace says, "Well done to all of the students that participated. Also, kudo’s to Mr. Burns and Mr. McKimmy as they year in year out help prepare students not just for this contest, but for public speaking tools to help them succeed."
