West Valley High School Students raised over $2600 in PINK October to donate to Ohana in order to support their efforts to fight breast cancer. In conjunction with the Memorial Foundation, students presented Ohana with the check today.

Rick Griffith, 8th grade Science Teacher, West Valley Mid-Level Campus received the “Excellence in Science Education – Middle School" award.

Out of roughly 16,000 schools using Imagine Learning, only 237 schools were recognized. West Valley School District was the only district in the nation, where the entire district received this honor.

The federal government provided school districts with Emergency Relief funds to assist schools with the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. West Valley has completed the reimbursement process for the first round of funding.

West Valley is hiring bus drivers and substitute bus drivers.

Samantha Lamb gained confidence, discipline, and academic excellence through JROTC.

Sarah Khan earns the STEM Rising Star Award from the South Central Washington STEM Network earlier this year.

Due to the recent bus driver shortage the Transportation Department has put together a schedule of which routes would be suspended when a driver shortage occurs.
