West Valley Teacher Receives Award From Washington Science Teachers Association

Rick Griffith, 8th grade Science Teacher, West Valley Mid-Level Campus received the “Excellence in Science Education – Middle School" award. He was one of two middle school teachers in the state of Washington who received the award last weekend at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference in Portland, Oregon. Also pictured is Midge Yergen, retired teacher from West Valley, who has continued to serve on the Washington Science Teachers Association (WSTA) Board of Directors as the regional representative from Central Washington.
